Datamatrix is coming!

Good news for those who want to use iMatrix as 2D code reader. I am testing Datamatrix recognition right now! In a few days you can get it via Installer. You will be able to read Datamatrix codes in Nokia style or Semacode as well.

Sergey,

In examining your imatrix site, I think I've found the right tool to enable an application I'm working on. I've successfully created some samples for my codes, and I imagine that your developer tools will give me the hooks to pull data into my database based on newly assigned codes.

What I'm not sure of is how I would assign codes to an existing database. I'm sure there's such a tool, it's just not obvious to me.

What am I missing?

What would be really nice is to integrate this with the keyboard. There would be an extra button on the normal iphone keyboard to activate imatix and what ever code is seen will be "typed"into whatever application is running. Similar to how a usb bar code reader works. it just sends the code as keystrokes. An example application would be to enter data into a database via a web site
